haare freistellen

Drum and bass has it's origins in hardcore back in the early 1990's. It's a style which originated from the rave scene which swept the world and had the youth dancing in warehouse parties every weekend. Drum and bass branched off from rave when some music became more 4/4 to the floor whilst the jungle offshoot focussed on breakbeats. Breakbeats were predominantly played by black funk drummers of the 60's, 70's and early 80's. Jungle music sped these sampled funky drum loops up and triggered them on the "one" to create a unique music with an excitement and energy which is still unrivaled when it comes to groove, feel, energy, forward moving drive and exhilaration. Drum and Bass is the music of excitement.

Mastering drum and bass is different from other music forms and it is important at all times to keep the sense of punch haare freistellen and energy, this will be at the forefront of the mastering engineers mind.
